Things are getting complicated for our beloved host, at the same time he realizes maybe the party is not the problem. What if the problem lies in their fears?

We have been working very hard designing the climax of this story. We wanted it to feel real and natural. All the dialogues are in a rough phase, and some of them will be polished a little more later.
Next week we will be revealing the ending of the story, followed by more information about how the animation workflow will be! We are almost there :DD

Indeed, one of our ideas with this story is that sometimes we need the help of others to re-frame our inner struggles and hopefully heal some old wounds.

2024-03-25 18:36:45 +0000 UTCWe discovered that a great perk of having such a diversity of characters is that some unique conflicts can arise. In this case, Beau's age difference with Max and Jay helped us make a more realistic mix of his intentions in these scenes. In the one hand, he wants to help his friends, but on the other he also wants what they have. Add to that the fact that he is infatuated by Jay and you have a lot of internal conflict. Great for character development :D

Sometimes life is like that and it takes someone willing to be genuine to get us to see. Sadly, our response in the moment is often to reject what is said, or to become defensive, especially if we are angry or in pain, so Beau's reaction rings very true. I love that Elliot stands behind his words unapologetically. Somehow I think that even though Beau says Elliot doesn't know anything about these things, Elliot is speaking from a place of firsthand knowledge.

2024-03-16 05:00:05 +0000 UTCTHE DRAMA. "You don't appreciate what you have!" x2. He says it but can't see it in himself.I really feel badly for Beau and want the best for him. Our struggles can isolate us even when surrounded by beauty, leaving us alone with our feelings. It can be really hard to push through that and try for connection again. Especially when you aren't exactly old, but you aren't young anymore, and it feels too late to begin anything new. It isn't, but pain, and being tired (I feel like his heart is just so tired) makes that hard to see.

Beau being a papa bear and wanting what his coupled friends have is an amazing conflict to capitalize on. Also the argument with Elliot was good in sorry he’s sad but I feel that once beau fixes things with max then Elliot is next. Or who knows maybe Elliot and Jay have a chat and Elliot sees where beaus intentions are coming from. But anyways this is amazing
