First and foremost, the purpose of the prologue is to introduce players to the core gameplay and the basic interaction systems. For us developers, this stage serves as the foundation: establishing the game’s fundamental logic and mechanics so that players can quickly learn how to play — essentially, a tutorial.

As for my personal workload, it has been quite heavy. I am responsible for creating environments, designing items, and working on the UI. Below, I’ll be sharing some completed environment art with you.


With UI

The prologue also carries a narrative role. Since this is a story-driven adventure game, a short piece of storytelling is integrated into the prologue to set up the background. To enhance the atmosphere, I’ve included quite a bit of Latin. I can read a little myself, though not fluently — much like most of you, I imagine. As the game unfolds, players will uncover more mysteries and gradually piece them together on their own.
On top of that, I’ve also been working on the BGM and sound effects, which has kept me very busy.

Of course, I know what most of you are really here for. So instead of showing only the technical foundations, I’ve prepared a CG sketch for you to enjoy~

Finally, I must admit that the main character’s design is still based on my personal OC (original character). I truly like this design… and if the game allows for outfit changes in the future, I would love to experiment with different styles. maybe~
