[WOTD] Yuri redesign - Part 3: Outfits and wallpapers

This is the third post of Yuri's redesign process, where I'll show you some of her new outfits, although remember that these won’t be all of the ones that will appear throughout the game.

As you might recall, Yuri and Bonnie attend a different school, not Lionheart Academy. That school is co-ed, and I still haven't defined all the details about that topic. I’d like there to be dialogue explaining why Bonnie and Yuri attend that school.
Yuri wears the blazer and open shirt to reflect her relaxed and (slightly) rebellious personality. I think Bonnie could wear the blazer closed, another time I make her version of the uniform.

Yuri is not a very flashy or extravagant girl, but she really likes clothes and has a good sense of fashion. Just like her personality, her outfits are, in a way, a fusion or middle ground between the styles that dominate Siri and Rachel.

Oh, a small detail: in some of these images, as well as in the ones from part 2 of the post, you might notice that Yuri's nails are slightly longer than those of the other girls.

For her casual outfits, just like with Bonnie's, I've created several options and versions. I’m also showing you the different hairstyles I made for Yuri. Personally, I love her iconic drill twintails, I think it's my favorite!

While I was working on her hairstyles, I was reflecting on something. In the original story, Yuri learned to do her twintail hairstyle on her own, but I think in the remake I could "expand" on that concept. Maybe I could make Yuri good at hairstyling and have her teach the other girls how to do their hair to look prettier.

As for her pajamas, I think Yuri could wear something loose and simple, though this might not be her “final” pajama design.

Regarding her bikini, it’s important to note that Yuri has more freedom in terms of her outfits, so her bikini could be more “provocative” or “revealing” compared to the other girls. I’m still undecided whether Yuri's bikini should be a one-piece or something more traditional like a two-piece suit.

Here are all (well, not really all of them) the new outfits I’ve made for Yuri, along with a comparative image of her previous design.

Oh, and unlike Bonnie, Yuri does have pierced ears and can wear earrings.

Her defining element will be the ornaments or accessories for her twintails. As you might remember, Alune's iconic elements are her bunnies and golden necklace; for Asagi, it’s her hair pins and big yellow bows; and for Bonnie, it's her headbands and animal-themed designs.

From the examples you see here, I still need to implement bows, ribbons, and pompoms, along with other accessories I might come up with later.

I've also added a necklace with a heart-shaped pendant to several of her outfits. I think this necklace could become another distinctive element for her.

At some point in the story, it will also be explained that Yuri lies to her mother to buy more clothes using her credit card. When she has extra clothes, they don't fit her anymore, or she simply stops liking them, she gives them to Bonnie.

Este es el tercer post del proceso de rediseño de Yuri, donde les mostraré algunos de sus nuevos outfits, aunque recuerden que no serán todos los que aparecerán a lo largo del juego.

Como recordarán, Yuri y Bonnie asisten a un colegio diferente, no a la Academia Lionheart. Ese colegio es mixto, y aún no he definido todos los detalles sobre ese tema. Me gustaría que haya diálogos que expliquen las razones por las cuales Bonnie y Yuri asisten a esa escuela.
Yuri lleva el blazer y la camisa abierta para reflejar su personalidad relajada y (un poco) rebelde. Creo que Bonnie podría llevar el blazer cerrado, en otro momento de hacer su versión del uniforme.

Yuri no es una chica muy ostentosa o extravagante, pero le gusta mucho la ropa y tiene buen sentido de la moda. Al igual que su personalidad, sus outfits son, de cierta manera, una fusión o un punto medio entre los estilos que predominan en Siri y Rachel.

Ah, un pequeño detalle: en algunas de estas imágenes, así como en las del post parte 2, podrán notar que las uñas de Yuri son ligeramente más largas que las de las demás chicas.

Para sus outfits casuales, al igual que con los de Bonnie, he creado varias opciones y versiones. También les muestro los diferentes peinados que hice para Yuri. ¡Personalmente me encanta su peinado icónico de drill twintails, creo que es mi favorito!

Mientras trabajaba en sus peinados, estuve reflexionando sobre algo. En la historia original, Yuri aprendió por sí misma a hacerse su peinado con coletas, pero creo que en el remake podría "expandir" ese concepto. Tal vez podría hacer que Yuri sea buena en la peluquería y sea quien enseñe a las demás chicas cómo peinarse para verse más bonitas.

En cuanto al pijama, creo que Yuri podría usar algo suelto y sencillo, aunque es probable que este no sea su pijama "definitivo".

Respecto al bikini, es importante aclarar que Yuri tiene más libertad en cuanto a sus outfits, por lo que su bikini podría ser más "provocativo" o "revelador" en comparación con el de las demás chicas. Aún no estoy seguro si el bikini de Yuri debería ser de una pieza o algo más tradicional como un traje de dos piezas.

Aquí les dejo todos (bueno, no exactamente todos) los nuevos outfits que hice para Yuri, junto con una imagen comparativa de su diseño anterior.

Ah, y a diferencia de Bonnie, Yuri sí tiene las orejas perforadas y puede usar aretes.

Su elemento característico serán los adornos o accesorios para sus coletas. Como recordarán, los conejos y el collar dorado de Alune son sus elementos icónicos; para Asagi, son sus pines para el cabello y sus grandes moños amarillos; y para Bonnie, son sus vinchas y diseños de animalitos.

De los ejemplos que ven aquí, aún me falta implementar moños, lazos y pompones, además de otros accesorios que podrían ocurrírseme más adelante.

También he añadido un collar con un dije en forma de corazón a varios de sus outfits. Pienso que este collar podría convertirse en otro elemento distintivo de ella.

En algún punto de la historia, también se explicará que Yuri le miente a su madre para comprarse más ropa usando su tarjeta de crédito. Cuando le sobra ropa, le queda pequeña o simplemente deja de gustarle, se la regala a Bonnie.

Ahora que he finalizado el rediseño de Yuri, el siguiente será el de Jill. Por suerte, ya tengo grandes avances, ya que he estado trabajando en su diseño mientras hacía el de Yuri. ¡Intentaré presentarles su rediseño antes de que termine el mes!
