My Animation Process in Gifs
Added 2017-10-17 20:37:46 +0000 UTCWhile I was doing a segment of animation, I decided to gif it at various stages so you can see how I kinda do stuff.
1. Initial blocking
2. Additional blocking (to better handling image flipping for tweens)
3. Automated tweens and correct easing
4. Converted tweens to individual keyframes and adjusted timing
5. Manually corrected motion
6. Secondary motion in the hair and ears, and a couple smears
7. Slightly adjusted animation and added background. (Backgrounds are usually never added until all the animation is done unless the character interacts with a background object)
8. Completed animation, still requiring character lighting and color correction before being ready for the final product.
So that's generally I do my stuff. Sometimes skipping step 2, depending on how complex the motion is. Hope ya found this kinda neat!
