What's been happening, and what's going to happen.

Sorry for the radio silence over the last couple months, life has been not been kind to me as of late and I've had to make quite a few tough decisions, and this is one of them.
What actually happened? Why did I disappear this time? Well, someone very important to me lost the ability to provide for themselves because of a long term health condition, the condition has rapidly become worse over the last few months, so I've been caring for them and trying to find a much more stable source of income to be able to provide for the both of us, which I've had no luck with yet.
What's going to happen? Am I coming back? Sadly no, I don't plan on returning to Blender anytime soon as my mind and time are preoccupied with, well... Trying to survive to put it bluntly haha. So with that being the case I've decided I will be un-publishing my Patreon at the end of this month. Not out right delete it, I don't want to remove the potential of me coming back in the future completely, I like to leave doors open where I can.
So here's the plan, In the next couple of days I'm going to un-pause billing. A couple days warning to give all current pledges a decent amount of time to un-pledge just in case they don't want to be charged (I'll give a final warning the day of un-pausing as well), and then after that, I'll leave it open till the end on the month so people can grab what they want before it's gone, and then I'll say my final goodbyes.
Sorry for the bad news. But if it's good news for you then... You're welcome lol.
I'll also post again when I'm about to unpublish, but for those who won't be there. It's been a fun ride, thank you so much for all the support over the years. You've all been great and I love the little community that we made, a quiet community in all honesty but no-one was a complete asshole, so what more could you ask for? haha I love you all, and I hope to see you all again in the future 💕

P.S. Before anyone asks. Don't bother asking for any blend files, they've already been wiped. So there's nothing to ask for. Cool? Cool.

2024-07-28 03:21:54 +0000 UTCFrom what I'm reading and understand, it's like an extended pause instead of me having to pause manually each month, my page won't be visible to anyone, but my info, content and pledges will still be there if I decide to publish it again. I know I could do that, but I know I will forget to pause it again at some point and I don't want to accidently unfairly charge people for nothing at all. So for peace of mind and to, in a way, place a bookmark in this story so I can return to it in the future. Well that's if I can, there's a lot of uncertainty floating around me at the moment haha.

Perhaps you can let it clearly be known that you are on an extended break, and just keep the page running, Ill be happy to stay on the $1 gang tier even if nothing new is posted.

You've always had a good vibe about you; a mix of polite, sane, chill and just generally a decent person. I do hope you can find that stable source of income (for what little these words may be worth). You've got more important things to take care of than providing us with T & A. 🫂🤗
