Tornus The Redeemed

This short video shows how I painted the feathers on Tornus The Redeemed's wings.
For painting this wing, I used a very small brush, size 000, Series 7 Miniatures, Winsor & Newton.
It's a brush with very short bristles. I recommend trying a brush with such short bristles because, in my opinion, painting small details is much more difficult with long bristles. Longer bristles tend to bend, making it harder to paint straight lines.
The feathers I painted look large on the video, but each one is only 2 mm wide at its widest point. That’s why I chose such a small brush.
I repeated the process of applying colors, as shown in the video, several times. This is why the colors blend and why there are so many visible lines on the feathers.
