It took a 3 week break and resumes pt 2 and voting on Thursday I think. Either way since I know you like girl groups I thought I'd check if you heard it finally was happening after it got delayed so many times.

I recommned you to watch IZ*ONE CHU S1 since it's right after the debut, they're long apisodes but I tgink it's very good if you want to know the members and the group dynamic. You can also watch ENOZI CAM in their yt channel (they're like short videos and bts) or if you're looking for something like a variety show there's also izone eating trip but it was realeased almost at the end so I think it's better to watch it after you know the members and group better so you can enjoy it more! She was the center but she struggled with the choreo and the language barrier and there were so many pieces moving on that time bc it was a huge performance with all 100 trainees. Chaeyeon, who was fluent em japanese, realized she was having difficults and personally coached her with the dance and helped her with the translations. Since then, they grew very close during the show and Kkura said latter she felt she couldn't make it without her... that's probably way she put herself out there by mentioning Chaeyeon at that moment... she truly did felt it wouldn't be fair if Chaeyeon didn't debut it. And btw I think part of the reason Chaeyeon was so beloved by the trainers is exactly because behind the scenes she would help all the other girls with their dance struggles. She was almost a dance mentor to the girls herself lol. Looking forward to follow your journey with Iz*One from now on!

If you watched the show and noticed all of the interactions between these two, you could look back and not be so surprised that Sakura would wish this. (One scene in particular would be when Sakura using a pen, drew rings on their fingers and ChaeYeon said she was Miwayaki ChaeYeon.)

2024-03-05 17:30:47 +0000 UTCI almost didn't watch this because I didn't want to see Chowon get screwed over again. I forgot how little screen time they gave her until that awkward camera shot. Anyway, according to the actual votes, Chowon finished sixth. Why she didn't get in depends on who you ask, be it Cube not offering financial compensation, she didn't "fit" the look the producer wanted for the group or the producers didn't like her voice with the others. I kind of wonder what Cube told Chowon about their plans to debut her, considering Idle had just debuted earlier that year, so it would be 3-5 years before they'd even consider another group (and Lightsum was rushed out the door as it was). Ka Eun should've ranked 5th. As you mentioned, she's just started talking about it in the past few weeks. She seems more upset about the fact that people pity her than the fact that she didn't make it in.

2024-03-05 16:59:59 +0000 UTCSakura’s message to chaeyeon was translated a little weirdly, they translated it as “thank you for always doing your best” but it’s more like “thank you for always being there for me (as in being someone I can depend on)” Literally kkura and chaeyeon have such an iconic friendship, it’s been so hard for wizones to see their post activities and hardly see the two interact. As others have said, izone chu is really the best place to start, it starts right after pd48 and shows their dorm life so it’s a lot of just candid them! Even if they’re not a group anymore, they’re still super close and just gives better context for when they do have interactions 😊

Five years after this episode aired, and guess what was the most memorable line in that last episode? That's right; it was that call-out to Chaeyeon (so much that they used that in a MAMA Awards show stage). I definitely bawled when Sakura said that (when I was watching it real time early morning). And yes, Chaeyeon named her 2 sisters and her 2 dogs lol. I know people are saying watch Eating Trip first, but you should watch IZ*ONE Content in chronological order; that way, you see the group slowly bond with each other and start making inside jokes that will show up later on in variety content. You have to watch them grow out of their shell and establish rapport with each other and grow into their variety sense and see why they're crackheads. And then you'll see why their succeeding groups (like IVE and Le Sserafim) are why the way they are. [Also probably watch all their MAMA Stages when they debuted in 2018 - yes, there was 3 MAMA Awards show that year.] TL;DR (1) Start with IZ*ONE Chu S1 first. Break it apart in 30 min segments if you want to fit it in Tier 1 instead of putting it in Tier 2. (2) Once you finish S1, then go chronologically: IZ*ONE City, IZ*ONE Chu 2, etc... I think Eating Trip starts after S2, but my IZ*ONE variety knowledge is rusty; I'll have to double check. 2024-03-05 06:06:45 +0000 UTCahhh idk why i was stressing so much even though i already knew the ranks the mnet editors are menaces. thank you for reacting to this i really loved rewatching it after a few years it felt like i was getting into the group for the first time again. im sure you already know but izone chu is the best place to pick up since it starts straight after produce but for tier 1 i would recommend eatting trip since the episodes are way shorter. im excited for you to see more of the dynamic's and friendships in the group cant wait!!

2024-03-05 04:25:35 +0000 UTCi’m not sure if you’ve already decided the iz*one content you’re gonna start but the biggest contenders for best content are iz*one eat-ing trip and iz*one chu however iz*one chu has hour long episodes so it might not work well for tier 1 but for iz*one eat-ing trip all episodes are 15-20 minutes long which is perfect i guess instead of splitting the episodes of iz*one chu or adding it to tier 2
