Its honestly heartwarming to see how close XG is with Simon, almost like family. I remember some of the members started crying when he surprised them backstage after their performance in HITC LA, they didnt expect him to make it in time.

Idk if you knew already yet, but Simon is a former idol (2nd generation I believe), used to be in a group called Dalmation. The song that plays every morning to wake the group up is one of their songs. The documentary, Xtra Xtra, touches more on what it was like for the girls training, how he trains them, and how their connection progresses. It’s a hard watch at some parts (emotionally) but it’s a great look into the journey.
