Hello all, happy holidays!
Let's cut to the chase: in terms of my writing output, the past couple of years have been pretty disappointing for myself and for others. I've elaborated on the reasons with friends and patrons plenty enough: dissatisfaction with my living situation; sleep schedule gone awry, messing with my routine; inconsistent maintenance of the routine of reading and exercise that I used to be more rigorous about; nutritional deficiencies.
Anyway, in an effort to kick off 2023 on a different foot, I'm starting not with a blank slate—oh, no no. I don't do well with blank slates. I prefer busy ones, and so I've created a calendar schedule for the rest of December and for January, during which I aim to write 6 of the 10 overdue patron stories and finish a few of the outstanding commissions as well. So yeah, if I set off 2023 on a timely note as planned, you can expect the dragon-hunting, Tiamat-devouring story featuring Richter's gryphon pred up on the 1st.
I would prefer to have both the commission and the patron story queues cleared, or, at least, down to a couple each by the end of Spring. It's time to get on with this and it's time for me to save up enough to move the hell out of California when my designated roommate is ready.
Also, I am aware that the numbering of some of the patron stories is not only incorrect, but repetitive or out of order, due to me confusing myself when I started writing them out of order.... Well, sometime next month I will look through the Story Packs and look through the gallery and sort out the gaps and redundancies, even if it means modifying some of the numbers I titled submissions with, lol.
As far as illustrations: Wings will draw for "Influenceable Arcanine" next month, as a late reward for this month; and as soon as I figure out what other story should get a cool drawing, I will likely commission Bluu the Ferret for January's illustration. If you guys have any ideas for what story should be illustrated next, and/or what scene, feel free to let me know.
That is all for now. Thank you all for being awesome! Enjoy the holidays, stay warm and may your New Year's be blessed,
Sini
