The Scaleback Spellbook - The Novel's Full Rough Draft (Patron Exclusive)

Lately, I've been thinking: this whole novel may need to be rewritten.

If I can compare thee to a stick of butter, Scaleback Spellbook, I will.

You were my first stick when I started churning you up in 2014. I really had no idea how sticks of butter were made. I still don't. You solidified ever so slightly in the beginning. Then, you melted. Putting you in the fridge again would be stupid, because your buttery puddle has told me what I need to know: you have no backbone.

Stupid me thought sticks of butter have backbones when you solidify them. Ah well. Moving on.

The Scaleback Spellbook WILL be released, you guys, but not in this form. I've been thinking of incorporating some of the characters, locations, best scenes from the rough draft into a new draft with a completely reimagined and more focused plot. If I were to release this novel with the rough draft's backbone (or lack thereof), I couldn't stand myself. I want my first novel to keep you and me clinging to every subsequent word. That's that. I'll rework it until it works.

That being said, I don't want this book to become an urban myth. So, fuck it. I'll stop holding out. Here's the 100k+ word, 275+ page rough draft that could have been, and the mother of the final Scaleback Spellbook you're gonna be able to read. It's a clusterfuck, but I swear, a % of it's interesting.
