Hello my lovelies! I want to share with you today my take on Princess Leia in photos also tips here and there on how to make latex garments.
As it's latex I wanted to do something a bit different from the ironic look and turn it into a leotard. It's latex after all, we are aloud to have a bit of fun! :D
I started off making my own pattern from my measurements-

Copied it down on to latex, of course flipping the pattern to other side for an even match. I tend to do half a pattern for that purpose.
A tip here is to use a cello tape for curved seams

Rolling your seams are such an important part, prevents it from coming undone and for an even look.

I wanted big flowy arms! and the latex here looks more like an fish tail but once glued together it will look like it.

Once all the latex pieces are glued together, I like to reinforce the cut edges by cutting strips and gluing them to the raw edge.

And the final product looks like this!

I can't wait to show you what it looks like on :D It has a big and I mean a BIG hood which is nice and floppy-

Hood is attached to the leotard and not a zip in sight - Manage to make it without any zips and it's still easy to put on.
I have also made a belt and have a blaster coming!
I will be shooting this soon for you guys!
