Great podcast, as usual! Personal preference, I prefer having the video podcast in the Patreon app, not having to go YouTube. If this is the way forwards, then I’ll just go without the video part then!! Finally, Petter, with regards to your channel content, here’s an idea: when you’ll be going back in pilot duty, you should use all the steps you’ll go through as content opportunities. I’m sure lots of people will appreciate following your journey back to being a pilot.

2025-10-16 16:56:17 +0000 UTCReally interesting. This made me wonder about the financials, what percentage of cost is on the plane/gas/pilot versus the office staff for an airline? If the system is that robust, how much behind the scenes staff is there at a major airline?

2025-10-15 04:13:15 +0000 UTCThank you both for reminding me to go trough the wind shear escape maneuver mentality before next sim session and introducing some new wordings that hopefully reduces the messy transition from WS escaping to the go-around mode… I will change my wording for the transition “safe climb out is assured” - Go around, check thrust, flaps 10, gear up” followed by standard missed approach SOP Once again thank you so much for all your videos and discussion I really enjoyed

2025-10-15 00:17:48 +0000 UTCHello! I am a physician/surgeon and expected to do “in house” 24 hour shifts where you may, or may not, have a chance to catch a nap during your shift. I also find it ludicrous that I am assumed to be “ok” to operate on people with little to no sleep. Thank goodness for adrenaline! I am thankful that the professional/commercial pilot community has strict regulations. I wish the medical community did as well.
