Its always interesting to watch the part in this episode with Jeongyeon's sister. She's an actress but was relatively unknown during this time. I actually knew her from dramas before I watched Sixteen (in like 2019) so it was a nice surprise to see her pop up :D There's a cute video from last year of Jeongyeon watching Seungyeon getting an award and cheering for her. I really love their relationship <3 (Sidenote but Seungyeon was also an SM trainee for many years before giving it up for acting. Hence the subs saying she "knew what Jeongyeon was going through")

Glad you guys are calling out the bad things in this show. The way the girls were treated throughout is awful. I like seeing pre-debut Twice but sitting through Sixteen is stressful. JYP is not a saint, and people ignore his (and the company's) flaws way too often

2023-02-14 05:52:56 +0000 UTCNobody likes the photographer, but she was doing what JYP wanted her to do which was give them a taste of what Kpop idols have to do in photo shoots. The Kpop industry has no mercy. I felt bad for Jihyo, but she got that comment because she'd gained weight before the show started because she was depressed about her previous group not debuting. Being a Kpop idol is not for the faint hearted. Jihyo was viciously attacked later by Korean netizens for comments she made about male fans. She tore ligaments in both knees, but still performed in the Signal MV while awaiting surgery. Sana was also attacked for innocent comments she made about the Japanese Emperor. Idols regularly kill themselves because of online abuse. Think of this show as boot camp and DI JYP wants the squad to be able to survive in combat, so he's pretty harsh with them sometimes. That's what a survival show really is, and fake compliments will get you killed.

She was a BABY baby for real 😭 she was on idol school(the show that created Fromis_9)but due tto rigging, she didn’t make it into the group and debuted solo in 2019 and had one comeback. She hadn’t had a cb in three years atp. It’s rumored that she’d be debuting in a new gg but according to other fans, the company is terrible, but I’m hoping the group does well bc I really want Natty to be successful

I was talking to a close friend about this show, and the way I described this show was this show will make you want to punch a baby in the face on one hand, and on the other, you will thank this show because TWICE was formed on this show. This show will make you respect and possibly love the members of TWICE, ITZY, Somi, and Natty after watching it. I'm glad yall are watching it because I think all Baby Once should understand what the ladies went through to even get to debut, and all the ladies involved in this show truly deserve all the success in the world.
