I am super duper late but better late than never right 😅 And I just have one comment after watching all the Q2 reactions, Hyolyn is in a league of her own, she is a performer, the rest are good but they were all putting on end of year performances and just going through routine choreography But this woman at every stage she was bringing to life, singing full live stable vocals, engaging the crowd like woooah… Now imagine to my surprise whenever you guys ranked them you’d put her at the bottom and not have a strong valid reason 😭😭 when it was airing everyone was ranking them performances and not include Hyolyn because she was in a league of her own (except for wjsn pantomime that was insane )

Just finished watching your Queendom 2 reactions. A little late with this comment so I don't know if you'll see it but I wanted to give some backstory to Brave Girls if you weren't aware of their story. The original group debuted in 2011 as a 5 member group (with none of the 4 members that appeared on Queendom 2). After some releases, the group had a 2 and a half year hiatus. In 2016, the group essentially redebuted with 7 members (2 original members and 5 new girls). Between the redebut and the release of Rollin, 1 original member left, and the other original member went on hiatus (and would eventually leave). In 2017, they released Rollin (which is why in the clips on Queendom there are 5 members.) After the release of Rollin, they went on a 3 year hiatus and were on the verge of disbandment. This was briefly alluded to in the opening episode when the girls are thinking what they were doing in 2018 (the year Loona debuted) and they said they weren't doing anything and were in a very difficult period. In 2019, one of the newly added members left the group, leaving the four newly added members which appeared on Queendom 2. In 2020, they made a comeback after the 3 year hiatus but it failed to chart. In Feb 2021, a video of them performing Rollin for the Korean military went viral, and FOUR YEARS after its release, Rollin topped the charts and won music show awards. This is the "reverse climb" they talk about throughout the show and why they mentioned visiting a military base in the finale episode. The video that went viral: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfHWIqJkEf4 Side note: the whole debut date confusion (when the group "Brave Girls" debuted (2011) vs when the active members debuted (2016)) is what sparked the "debate" of longest time between debut to first win in a girl group between Brave Girls and Dreamcatcher. Their appearance on Queendom essentially mirrored their careers with them being close to disbanding/dropping out of the show to having a sudden, unlikely climb to the top. Since then, Brave Girls have had an affinity for performing for the military, and the military always loses their minds for them. I can't wait to see you react to WJSN now than you finish the show, i want to see your reaction to WJSN THE BLACK the most with the song "Easy" it's too good. It's my most listen to song of 2021 and the song is in my top 3 of last year. I came to say the same thing! It's so good! Idol Factory channel on Youtube is where the series is at. Better to save it for Patreon otherwise you'll have to use a very small screen and wait for each video to be unblocked. I hope y'all can get into it! It's Thailand's first full GL series!

I’m laughing though because you keep going on about the chaos that is MMM & (g)I-dle (and for good reason) but keep in mind that MMM in particular, while a mess with each other, are famously shy around people they don’t know well. Now Mijoo (Lovelyz), who has literally zero filter, is for all intents & purposes the original K-pop crackhead….and she brought her A game to Queendom! Also Hyejeong’s (AOA) running dialogue of thirsty comments during the other group’s performances is life giving!

I think if they do a Q3, the groups I would want are: Dreamcatcher, Le Sserafim, Cherry Bullet, Fromis_9, Apink and Chungha. This way you have some established groups, some newer groups and some groups that are talented, but for whatever reason aren't that popular

excited for you to do Queendom 1 so you get to know the other groups better. There's been controversy around AOA's leader Jimin but she was absolved of it all and recently made a come back to the industry - keep that in mind when watching.

Thank you both for reacting to Queendom 2! Queendom 1 episodes are on average 30 minutes shorter than Queendom 2. There isn't an official streaming site that has Queendom 1 so often the performances can get pixelated. It's a little extra effort but all the performances are on YouTube if you want to switch to them when the time comes and then resume the episode after. Now that Queendom 2 is finally over I'm exited for you guys to finally check out some WJSN content. WJSN The Black directors cut is for the gays :)

hi, just wanted to add something here. Queendom 1 was in 2019 so it's been 3 years. so the spoiler for the season 1 winner is ok because Queendom 1 was really popular everywhere so they assume a lot of international fans saw it. . they had time to plan for season2.
