hunting tornadoes in a historic outbreak

I'd always consider it when the forecasts looked promising, but I'd never actually make the commitment and go out. However, my current medical nightmare made me realize I should be prioritizing bucket list stuff. So, I took a trip out to the plains when the weather pattern looked like it would favor tornadoes. I got a bit more than I bargained for, because one of those days ended up producing a historic outbreak. I saw 8 tornadoes that day, and even got hit by one as it was dying. This is my best tornado video by far.

No worries on cheering on the event, human nature, but it is good your aware of it after and talked about the impact of these events. I did watch on youtube one going through a town, gawd-horrible destruction. As a young guy I was cheering on the lighting strikes around our car 'closer' my friends told me to shut up. Would love to see the other vid whenever you get it done.
