Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything new! Last month I was finally able to start getting some time back from my babies as they are getting more independent. I have a lot of work I need to make up for people, but for now I'm just going to get back on that art horse when I can and not stress myself into medication anymore. Wasn't worth it.

A somewhat customized Banbaro set! Always love when clients request certain things on their armor or weapons to help them stand out more.

I've been sketching Heather Mason lately, I guess cause now its finally going to be fall. When it starts getting spooky I always draw her.

I wanted to get this one out much sooner according to the poll! But then my kid got sick, then I got sick, then my other kid got sick, oof. It was a rough sleepless week that's for sure. 

I actually had another sketch for this but I ended up drawing this today once I was feeling better to warm up. I haven't been able to play Sunbreak long enough to face Malzeno, so I was going off what they felt like from the demo haha.

Rondine

Warm up sketch of Rondine from MHRise!

There's inevitably going to be something like Rampages in Sunbreak, since now you have castles you can fortify against hordes of monsters. I think it'd be cool if Rondine was select able this time, and she wields something like the Rampage Blade II as her long sword of choice due to her Kamura Village's influence in her travels.

MHRise: Yomogi

Quick cool down sketch from last week. Been having quite a few nights with very little sleep, so I'm pretty out of it as I post this. She's no felyne chef but what a cutie!

Commission: Zinogre, Kulve, and Nerg

This was a fun commission from a while back! Client wanted their OC in custom Zinogre armor. Had to adjust the breast plate, haha.

They also wanted to include details to their other favorite 2 monsters. So we went with some gold chains and ornaments for Kulve Taroth and a Nergigangte kinsect!

Kamiya Kaoru

Finally was able to catch up on sleep the passed 2 days, so I'll be hitting the tablet hot while I can!

Warm up of Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin. I was listening to it's OST and it made me really want to watch it again. I always dug how even though Kaoru was a bit of a tomboy, she was always super well dressed. And I loved her furisode/hakama combo is the reboot manga. :)

Sketch for a client from a while back I don't think was ever approved, so I guess they didn't dig it that much. I usually dislike the men I draw but I dig this one. :) 

Ukanlos Hunter (w/ Akantor DB)

A very rough MH sketch I can't see finishing anytime soon. It's been sitting in my hard drive for a year. Might as well share it!

I used to sketch monsters with the respective armor/hunter. Boy do I miss the days where I could draw all day...

A commission I originally thought was just a sketch commission. Oops! So I added color to fix it, lol. 

I love how even dressed down 'casual' FF14 outfits are still quite intricate in their details.

A tsundere paladin for Pris! Don't be so mushy, you're embarrassing her. ><

Commission: FF Novellus Dea

A commission for a fan of Novellus Dea! They requested her napping with a purple chocobo and a carbuncle. I tried to turn her usual sci-fi outfit into something for FF-ish. :)

Haunted Armor

Client requested a suit of asymmetrical armor being possessed by a spirit refusing to rest while there's still fighting to be done. 

Shell Studded Somnacanth

This was a fun commission! The clients wife has a love for nautical themes and so she used the shell studded armor. I suggested that she could also be a mermaid with a Somnacanth tail and he dug it. :)
