It took me an entire week to rewire the batteries for a series parallel connection of 60V. Why so long? I meticulously sanded and cleaned every single contact before joining, as well as added some bus bars and new cables to handle the higher concentration of current in the stack. Since contact resistance is one of the most limiting parameters of these experiments, I figured I might as well do whatever I can to minimize it.

It started raining within minutes of finishing the last connections, and it continued to rain throughout the weekend so I haven't been able to try out the new battery stack. While waiting for fair weather I decided to do some storm chasing, and I ended up shooting one of the most incredible tornado videos I've ever taken. If I get time I'll make an edit to show you guys, otherwise stay tuned for the battery vid which will likely be finished before the end of the month.
