delays!
Added 2023-06-04 17:51:16 +0000 UTCI wish I had more video updates to give you at this point but unfortunately, I've been having a terrible time receiving parts in a timely manner! It seems sellers are either clueless or never the ones actually shipping their items. I ordered some big copper blocks to use as switch contacts only to find out later that the seller didn't actually have them in stock. I also ordered a bunch of battery lugs for wiring the rest of the bank but was sent the wrong size, and the return process on that has been so slow that I just bit the bullet and bought another crate of lugs from somewhere else. Irritating! I *should* receive the parts I need by the end of the week, so hopefully that means I can start filming the main experiments for my vid next week.
In the meantime, my farming duties have kept me quite busy as a drought has kicked in full force. I spend hours every day watering all the trees I planted since they don't have established roots yet. It may not rain for weeks either, so it looks like I'll be doing this for a while. The only consolation is that I've seen a lot of fun animals when visiting my trees every day.

2023-06-04 21:26:45 +0000 UTCthey are already at full charge now. i'll have to measure them all individually before wiring them all in the big bank though, because a battery hooked up at lower voltage would cause a huge transient current since the other batteries would charge it through basically no impedance.
