I feel like cheating watching this while joining after the fact. That said, I found the ant blasting strangely pleasing having fought carpenter ants for the last two years at our summer cottage. Them bastards have already hollowed out over a meter of supporting log on the ground level and infested the ceiling. Last spring I was forced to use so much toxic pesticide, our small half hectare island had very few insects (or birds) the whole summer. Inspired by this I think I'll try using one of those (puny) pulsed arc generator modules from AliExpress to kill them indoors instead of the backside of a flashlight I've been previously using.
