Aaah, I'm so excited :,D Next month will be the last update for the chapter, finally completing it! Plan is to post it all on Webtoon Canvas when it's done, available for everyone. :> Scary and exciting!

They grow up so fast! And I mentioned it before, but her bone structure is really interesting to see in action... Assuming she has bones, she has the femur and tibia/fibula length of a human, but her feet almost look canine and she walks with a style that's almost Ostrich-like? That little chimera isn't just pretty, she's remarkably well designed! Ostriches have arguably mastered bipedalism, and walking style looks like it'll take her far! Wonder how much of that was the product of research, and how much just felt intuitive? (Calabi Yau did kinda get me interested in biology after all. *Coughs*)

She wakes up when she confirms that animals can survive here, comes out as undifferentiated goop, and then settles on a shape that matches what she tastes nearby. (Unless I'm misinterpreting everything)
