YouTube Ads

I don't monetize videos there because I want to turn ads off. That way you don't get interrupted when you watch a video there. But I've seen conflicting reports of whether me turning off monetization actually removes ads from videos.
If you watch on YouTube can you let me know - do you see ads there?

2024-01-16 14:39:38 +0000 UTCAn update: I started out with the four hour lo-fi video in the morning, and never got an ad during it. I played this one in a chrome browser on PC. In the second half of the day, I let ~10 of your YouTube videos autoplay in a row. Most were teasers for Patreon exclusive files, although a couple were full files. No ads played at all between the files or during them. This was done in the YouTube mobile app. Maybe it's possible that ads could play based on the user's region? I exhausted all of my ideas to try and get one to play.

2024-01-15 17:55:05 +0000 UTCHaven't seen an ad and kinda happy that doesn't happen. Cause i don't want there to be an ad at loud volume when i'm trying to relax. Ruins the immersion. XD

2024-01-15 13:50:24 +0000 UTCi rarely watch on YT cos i prefer the patreon audio files but those i have watched (mainly the loop files and lofi) have been ad free - maybe seeing ads is a product of frequent viewing?

2024-01-15 12:30:28 +0000 UTCTip to anyone, use the brave browser to remove unwanted adds. Mid video adds would ruin the experience, adds at the beginning might affect loop listeners but you gotta make money so π€·
