that wasn't what I meant, I was alluding to the "master-slave" relationship that is technically what you would call a trainer and their pokemon, and "relations" between master and slave draw issues of consent into question.

So if you remember that gen 4 of pokemon canonically said humans which would include trainers and pokemon got married way back when so realistically no it wouldn't be for them at least. At the same time tho, it's weird to an extent

Maybe you legally aren’t a Pokémon when you aren’t in that regions dex. You can’t be used in Pokémon battles, you can’t do anything a Pokémon can.

HA! I KNEW Incineroar would regret not picking sprigatito as his starter...then again maybe it would have been MORE wrong for him to be "dating" his starter. Given the nature of the relationship between trainer and pokemon the level of consent can be drawn into question...but then again pokemon aren't usually trainers so...you know what this is a bad path for me to be walking down
