Patreon and Discord syncing not working 100%

Some Patrons have reported that they lost access to the patronsonly channel on my Discord.

Quick Update

Patreon sent me a "you need to talk to your Patrons" reminder, so here we go.

Firstly, thank you all for your support.  You keep me focused and really do encourage me to keep working hard on Visions of Chaos.

Discord role for Patrons

Hello all.

I had a request to be able to tag Patrons in my Discord.  I have setup a role "Awesome Patron" now.

I have now linked Patreon to Discord so all Patrons are automatically granted access to the "Awesome Patron" role and given access to the #patrons-only channel on my Discord.

As a benefit I do release early access new features to Patrons, so look for the latest Patron only download link as a pinned message in the #patrons-only channel.

Do you think we need a private Patron only Discord?  Allowing anyone in gets a larger community, but a private server acts as a benefit to Patrons.

Hello,

Thanks for becoming a Patron of Softology.

I am new to Patreon so coming up with benefits is not easy.  Assuming you are a Patron of other people, let me know what you would like to see as Tier benefits.

As I said in the about text, I do not want to restrict Visions of Chaos features behind a Patreon paywall, but other ideas for benefits to my Patrons is welcome.
