1: There's indeed a little Smash logo on Ivysaur's branding iron, Phloxiana. Usually you point out the more wholesome details! Not this week though, since Ivysaur seems ready to make Spring Man talk using whatever means necessary.
2: Glad you noticed the callback to the Cat in the Can comic all the way at the start of this arc, Chj92! It's indeed the same cellar as where Incineroar was kept.
3: Pokémon Trainer asking if they need to be so cruel is absolutely a reference to King K. Rool's name, John Leonard!
4: King K. Rool calls Spring Man "Toothpaste Man" because his hair looks like toothpaste. According to him at least.
5: There are two boxes behind Spring Man in the second panel: one labeled JUNK and the other labeled FUNK. I'm really curious to know what's in the FUNK box, Laeva.
6: In the background behind King K. Rool, Pokémon Trainer and Ivysaur, there's a shelf with an old Flipper (an item that was in Melee). I had to go visit the Smash wiki to remember the existence of this thing, Pandocula.
7: Also on the shelf are two paint buckets: Big Blue (AwesomeAceZ) and Tiny Blue (Kelly Culham-Erickson).
8: Behind Ness and Lucas in the sixth panel there's a box labeled "WADDLE DEEZ NUTS". I have no idea why or when I wrote this. I think I was stressed and on a caffeine high, Gabriel S.
9: Well, I guess we now know where Corrin's shoes are, VisionPlayer22! There's indeed a box labeled "SHOES (CORRIN)" behind Ness and Lucas in the sixth panel.
10: There's also a Red Shell in the same panel. Another Melee item that we haven't seen since, Jon Brouse!
11: Haha good eyes Trigger. You'll have to zoom in, but the label on Ness and Lucas' Cups of Lifenoodles say "Noodle flavor" and "Heals HP!"
12: Don't really know why (I think Twitter was talking about this particular game at the time), but you're right Dave Papworth. Terry's hat says "Def Jam Fight for NY" instead of "Fatal Fury" in the seventh panel.
13: Loss was very hard to spot this week unless you know kanji, but Chj92 got it: the kanji for "loss" is on Min Min's shirt. Shame you already mentioned another detail, Chj92. That means Ness Main gets it!
14: There's a tiny little crewmate noodle in Min Min's noodle bowl in the seventh panel, as pointed out by Cameron Devera.
15: You can spot Ridley's little flower still being attached to his head in the seventh panel, although it's just a silhouette.
16: Blatant disrespect of our Assist Trophy friends, Michael Ederer! Someone indeed scratched the "ist" part of Assist on the sign in the final panel.
17: Balthazar is hidden in the bush in the final panel this week. Good catch, Lord Circe!
18: Yes, in the final panel, one can spot the silhouettes of Assist Trophies Ashley and Starman in the ASSist Trophy camp, A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends!
19: KroolButt is indeed a callback to Sephibutt, which in its turn is a reference to DickButt, Shelby Kinkead!
20: Ohh, glad you got this subtle detail, John Leonard! King K. Rool pulls his render pose in the third panel, albeit a bit different.
21: ERROR: edmg7 pointed out that there's a continuity error in this comic: King K. Rool mentions that this is happening while the rest of the gang is camping to revive Hero. I thought that would fit the timeline because Peach, Daisy and Ridley (the ones who revive Ness and Lucas) weren't shown in the camping comic, but they actually were shown, in the bonus panels! Oops.
22: Yep, Spring Man is tied up with his very own ARMS, Zach.
23: Ivysaur's branding iron indeed slowly cools down throughout the comic, Tejayes!
