I'm actually surprised that Ridley, one of the most irredeemably monstrous villains in Nintendo canon, is invested in this quest to revive the others. I've also been waiting for Sonic to be brought back, theoretically they can just smash a TV or pop a capsule to get a 1-up, it can be pretty funny to yeet Sonic's dead body into a boxy old TV with his picture on it...maybe make an NFT joke along the way. OR you can go full ham and do the '06 revival thing since "cutscene deaths are different" so they gotta gather the chaos emeralds and get a princess to kiss him and everything, if you ever wanted to give Sally a cameo that would be a great opportunity.

I'm still wondering how Sonic will be revived. He WAS murdered in canon in Sonic 06, and I think a combo of Chaos Emeralds and a kiss on the mouth from a human brought him back to life. If that the route that will be taken? Could be funny, but could also lead to a short arc for a search for Chaos Emeralds as well. Also bet Sonic will be revived in April in time for the movie release.

A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends

So many x-eyes panels. Thank you very much! Nice to see Ridley also helping to revive some characters. For a vicious space dragon alien, he seems to care more about the deceased fighters than the princesses do. Hopefully K. Rool also gets off his lazy butt and does something. He was brought back to life months ago.
