Sunday piano meditation - no. 10
Added 2023-12-03 21:40:44 +0000 UTCThis little improvisation was recorded on the old piano at a (new) friends place, shortly before dinner. Initially I was just invited for brunch this morning, but ended up staying the whole day with the couple and their guest (one of the musicians from Thursdays living room concert - Ivory Tusk is his artist name, if you want to check out his music, it's great!). We went for a very sunday-ish walk outside in the snow - today was a beautiful clear cold, but sunny winter day - had a hot chocolate in one of these traditional Viennese coffee places and then also had dinner together, while talking about our favorite songs by The Beatles, Talking heads and early Tim Buckley albums. A great day overall.
This time it's a playful (little messy - I have to admit) tune in Bb major - we're almost through the whole scale by now! During the next round I will switch all major improvisation to the equivalent minor and vice versa. :)

wahrscheinlich meinst du die Übersteuerung, wenn das Klavier zeitweise etwas zu laut war - ich konnte nur einen Take aufnehmen und das nicht gleich kontrollieren, da ich diesmal nicht zuhause war ;)
