Hidden Details: Bugs and Witches

Welcome to the eighty-fifth episode of the Hidden Details blog!

Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".

Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!

There ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar, and NO JoJo reference. Bonus panels don't count.

1: Correct Luke! The Dimitrescu family has apparently bought a fake Het melkmeisje by Vermeer, presumably from Redd.
2: Beneath the fake painting there are indeed three pictures of flies, Marwan Abunura. These depict the Dimitrescu daughters when they hadn't formed their human-like bodies yet.
3:
And there's also a little picture of Balthazar next to the Dimitrescu pictures. Glad you found him, Zanreo.
4:
Isabelle is not drinking wine but grape juice. You can see the grape juice bottle next to her in the first panel. Found by TruthsTrueTruant.
5:
Daniela, however, IS drinking wine. The Dimitrescu family wine, to be exact: Sanguis Virginis. You can find a bottle of this wine in the actual game, Daniel Myhre.
6:
And yep, loss can this week be found in the flames in the third panel, John Hattan.
7:
Isabella pulls out a home run bat (as seen in Smash) from behind a pillow to knock Daniela out. Right on the money, Erin.
8:
One of the armors turns it's head to look in the third panel, just like Daniela. This might be one of my personal favourite hidden details this year so far, Trigger.
9:
There's a sign in the museum depicting their growing desperation (since no one is playing Animal Crossing anymore). They've gotten to the point where they'll actually pay people to visit. Glad you noticed, Toon Draw.
10:
Isabelle is wearing a Dimitrescu daughter outfit to fit in. She was wearing this in the bonus panel last week, but she continued wearing it in this comic. I think it looks super cute on her. Found by Zach.

After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.

Comments

Every week on Friday, I post a Hidden Details where you can let us know what hidden detail or reference you found in the latest comic. I haven't updated this post yet, but I think pretty much every detail has been found already. Normally I update the post after one week, revealing all the details and giving everyone who found one a point per detail. You can only submit one detail per post though! We're working on coming up with some sort of cool reward system for Patrons who have found a lot of details, possibly something involving merchandise :)

Hello, I’m new here, what do I do?

THEx

Loss on the knobs of the staircase in the final panel

Supercharged (CEO of 9-Volt)

Can't quite make it out, but Daniella is drinking "something Virgin"

Pokedude14

Isabelle was given a matching outfit with Daniela, even having the same swords(?) on her necklace.

Zach

Not sure it's really hidden, but Blathers' reaction to Daniela becoming many flies alludes to his intense dislike/phobia of insects and other creepy crawlies.

Tejayes

Isabelle, being responsible as she is, is not drinking wine but grape juice.

There are three pictures of flies in the first and third panels, being the family pictures for the daughters

kirbystarwarrior

isabelle uses a home run bat to knock daniella out!

Erin

Balthazar pic in third panel

Zanreo

Loss in the fire third panel

John Hattan

The museum’s board reduce the prices up to pay for visitors Probably nobody has needed to go to the museum up to this point

One of the armors in the background turned its head looking for Ethan just like Daniela did.

Trigger

The painting on the wall of the castle is the fake version of the Quaint Painting that can be bought by Redd, looks like Redd gets around
