Welcome to the seventy-third episode of the Hidden Details blog!
Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".
Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
There is NO Loss, NO Balthazar, and NO JoJo reference. Sorry, spent too much time on those intricate Xenoblade designs... Bonus panels don't count.
1: Isabelle comes running after noticing that Mythra very much has NOT brought her own censored clothing. After the second panel, she has made Mythra switch clothes. Found by Trigger.
2: Mythra's outfit is accurate based on the location/time. Before Isabelle comes running to cover her up, she still has her boob window. After that, she doesn't, except for in the flashback to her original game.
3: Wario trips Little Mac on his stilts, to eliminate the competition. Glad you noticed, Marwan Abunura.
4: Sakurai's figurine drawer room, as mentioned in the latest showcase, makes an appearance in the background of the second panel. Nicely found by MightyBryGuy XX.
5: Link is indeed checking out Mythra, John Hattan. Much to Zelda's disdain.
6: The gears that are shown when Mythra is thinking are the same gears as the ones on Rex' outfit.
7: Little Mac is pissed after being tripped by Wario.
8: The background in the flashback is a corner of Corinne's House in Fonsett, where Rex grew up.
9: The guys in the background of the first to last panel know something is up when Mythra switches to Pyra and react accordingly.
10: Yep Josue Cazanga, someone apparently brought Sephiroth a second pear.
11: Meanwhile, the previous pear has gone rotten. Sephiroth apparently hasn't eaten it. You're right, Zanreo.
12: Sephiroth has gotten two cards. One from Ridley, saying "get well soon", and another one from Cloud, saying "I hope you die". Since there's two cards, I'll give Toon Draw and Jay Rooney both a point for this one.
13: The sheet Dr. Mario is holding reveals "massive Fsmash damage", as a reference to how powerful Pyra's forward Smash is. Found by Luffink.
14: And yep, the sheet once again reveals Sephiroth's hair bones, Put 9-Volt In Smash Bros Please.
15: This comic follows the continuity of the previous ones. Sephiroth still has a broken arm from getting his ass kicked by the Doom Slayer and Rex has indeed gotten one of the Sephibutt cards, as seen on his whiteboard in a previous comic. Good catches, Zach and CrazySeanDX.
17: Simon is rocking a cool cross on his neck because he's a very religious man. This wasn't a reference to Mythra/Pyra but I like the way you think, Tejayes.
After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
