Welcome to the sixty-sixth episode of the Hidden Details blog!
Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".
Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
There is ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar, and NO JoJo reference.
1: The dress that Cloud uses to crossdress in Final Fantasy VII is hanging on his wall. Found by Zach.
2: And yep, Aeris' flower is there as well, right next to the door. This one was found by Diego Gzz.
3: Cloud's Buster Sword is there as well, to complete the whole set.
4: Cloud is sleeping under a blanket that has a bunch of Chocobos on it! Glad you noticed, Eli Hurtt.
5: Cloud's PJs doesn't have any sleeves, just like his official outfit.
6: There's a few references on the nameplate on Cloud's door: someone who's a bit illiterate wrote it because the L is flipped, and there's a cute little drawing of Balthazar on there. Found by Benjamin Schmeer and Daniel Myhre.
7: Yes, that's definitely a reference, Alex Nelson. Not a reach at all. Sephiroth is still topless from the first comic.
8: Sephiroth is using a SEC-branded phone. This was supposed to be a reference to the Shinra Electric Power Company in Final Fantasy VII.
9: The audio version of this comic (on Instagram) includes a muffled One-Winged Angel from Advent Children. The lyrics in the non-audio version however (website, Patreon, Twitter, Facebook), is from the regular One-Winged Angel. I chose the Advent version in the audio comic because it's a bit more epic, but I chose the regular version for the non-audio comic because the lyrics are more recognizable.
10: The eyesight poster reads P U T R A Y M A N I N Y O U C O W A R D S. Nothing wrong with your eyesight, Luke.
11: Yep, there's a poster in Dr. Mario's office that show's Kirby's anatomy, Andreas Savva.
12: And yes, there's also a book titled 'loss'. Not even THAT weird to find in a doctor's office, right? Found by John Hattan.
13: And yes, Fluoxetine is an actual drug, CrazySeanDX! Had to Google it, but I'm glad someone noticed.
14: And finally, yeah, that speaker is an actual JBL speaker. No idea what version it is, I just drew the one I have. Charge 4, maybe? Good catch, Trigger.
After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
