New Year Update

Hey Dad,

It's been a while since I exclusively posted here. I wanted to update everyone here on the current status of the channel and where things are going.

Currently, I'm working on a larger, more ambitious project than I normally do. I'd like to start working on, and releasing these projects a few times a year in between the current video game coverage.

While this video is taking a lot more of my time than the others would, it's a lot more fulfilling, and I think the production value will be much higher than my other videos.

The video I'm currently working on is called "A Brief History of Video Game Strategy Guides".

This video will attempt to cover the entire history of strategy guides, where they began, their peak, and how they ended. Of course, there are a lot of surprises coming in the video, some points where I tried to go above and beyond, and some very interesting tangential subjects that I think you'll be happy with.

It's also become sort of an ode to physical media, and why it really matters.

I'll try to provide more updates here as the project progresses, but the goal is to have it out by the end of January or Early February.

I will still be working on releasing videos on the Resident Evil Series. And to answer the questions that some of you have asked, yes I will be covering every mainline game and spin-off in the series. I'm going to apply the same methods that I used with MGS to cover these games.

I'll also be putting out more Worst Steam Games videos as well.

All this being said, I'd like to finish the strategy guide video first. My goal in this new year is to take more time on projects so that I can increase the quality of the videos. Part of this is also to try out new ideas and create interesting projects that you won't get elsewhere.

As always, thanks for watching.

I'll see you soon.

Bye now.

Thanks, son. Keep up the good work.

That's a solid video concept, looking forward to the result! I hope those cheats magazines get a mention, too, as I vividly remember lurking in stores, reading them and trying to remember the codes as a broke kid.
