The Finale will be uploaded as a downloadable pdf on May 17th. I will post my thoughts and further explanations on the 18th. I think it should go without saying but please do not share these pages outside of Patreon or spoil the ending to other people.

It's getting darker and darker...
At this point, a normal person would be dead. But having what is essentially a giant musical pacemaker embedded into your chest tends to help! Sure, it's been critically damaged but such an important implant would logically have an emergency mode. Can't have Armstrong subjects dropping dead just because of a technical hiccup, can we?
So Chai's been given an artificial extension on life! But I don't think he can take any more punishment before not ...

During my playthrough in the museum, I was constantly expecting the giant robot models to come to life so I could have an awesome giant mech fight... Except it didn't happen... again. This page almost burned me out... Pun not intended.
And there you have it! Some of you already guessed correctly why V1-RS wants to tear Chai into a million tiny pieces. But it was the fact that Chai loved causing carnage that really drove V1-RS' into a psychotic rage. This whole extended chase and slowly widdling down at Chai's strength (and sanity) was as much of a party to V1-RS as fighting Vandelay's staff was to Chai.

I guess "Kill it with fire" isn't a working strategy against this spider. V1-RS’s looking more and more like its true and honest self every page.
