Welcome to the fifty-fifth episode of the Hidden Details blog!
Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".
The Patron who has found the most Hidden Details at the end of the year might win something nice... We still need to do the big reveal of 2019's winner, but it's happening very soon!
Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
There is NO JoJo reference, ONE Loss and NO Balthazar. Bonus panels are not counted. Also: don't you dare just commenting 'Cress Flakes', I want to know who will get this obscure reference.
1: The Pokémon Trainer's room is an exact replica of what the room looks like in Let's Go Pikachu/Let's Go Eevee.
2: Ivysaur is shaking a box of Cress Flakes. Cress' (from Pokémon Black/White) Japanese name is Corn. Corn Flakes.
3: Squirtle is knocking over a bottle of MooMoo Milk
4: Ah Ho-Oh silhouette is visible outside the trainer's window, as a reference to the early Pokémon anime. Good catch, Zach.
5: The trainer has a Slakoth print on her shirt, referencing her casual setting. Nicely found, Luke.
6: Rosalina has a pink Xbox controller and a pink Switch, in proper gamer girl fashion.
7: There's also a bad dragon visible under Rosalina's bed, suggesting Rosalina might have an OnlyFans as well. Thanks for taking this bullet, Phloxiana.
8: Luma is also dressed as an E-girl. Correct, CrazySeanDX
9: Luma is also represented on Rosalina's shirt.
10: Simon has a little Jesus cross hanging on his wall, since he's such a devout Christian.
11: Simon's (and Richter's) house has dedicated hooks to hang up whips. Richter is indeed out of the house. Or at least his whip is missing at the moment. You're absolutely correct, Screen Name.
12: Simon has a degree in vampire hunting. He's a professional, lokomotives
13: Link's house is the one you can actually get in Breath of the Wild.
14: Link also has Kass' picture hanging on his wall, which means he completed the Breath of the Wild DLC. Good find, Alex Nelson.
15: Glad you noticed the Malo Mart logo on Link's sweater, Charles
16: Dedede's filter is an actual Snapchat filter that's usable in Zoom, apparently.
17: Snake still has a Konami mug even though Konami seems to have abandoned him. Good eye, Toon Draw
18: There is a cat tower visible in the background of Samus'/Snake's panel, as a reference to what Snake is asking.
19: And yes! Loss is visible in the leaves of the plant in the final panel, John Hattan! Glad you found it.
20: The call is indeed to discuss nerfs/buffs, Daniel Myhre
21: Sakurai has four invites on his desk, referencing the for yet-to-be-revealed DLC fighters. Found by Zanreo.
22: Rosalina is selling gamer girl star bits. This is, of course, a reference to Belle Delphine selling gamer girl bath water. Good catch, Marwan Abunura.
After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
