2025-01-10 23:08:25 +0000 UTCI used to work loss prevention for Target and for how crazy these guys describe the job their stories are so stupid. I had what I consider a pretty typical LP "career" and I have easily a dozen more interesting stories than that guy. Never heard many people who thought Kohl's was the place to work, though, everyone wanted to come to Target. Something I don't remember if you covered in the original episode was that even as boring as these guys make these stories sound, the one interesting thing about them, the fighting, is 100% exaggerated. Most retailers don't allow you to touch shoplifters, and even those that do have strict rules about what you're allowed to do. Certainly not throw punches or do anything that could actually hurt them. They're almost certainly making that up, I think.
