For you to become friends with a character, you must learn more about her then answer correctly when she questions you. If you get them wrong, your relationship decreases.

For you to go from friends to dating, you must be able to answer more questions about her, and you must go on 3 successful dates. Failing dates might make the character suggest you just remain friends.
