Images and posts stolen from Patreon

Dear patrons,

I've learned recently that for years now, some people have shared my work on free platforms. These platforms share the paid content from creators on Patreon, gumroad, etc.

I've seen the number of my donors on Patreon declining since 2022 and it's the same pattern for a lot of artists that I know. And I've seen that more than 1350 persons are "subsribed" to my page on one of these free platform and can access everything I've been working on freely.

Sharing my paid work on free platform will doom my future on Patreon... and as a 3D artist. I'm very sad and angry about this...

Even the dropbox links that I'm sending you every month with the rewards are stolen...

If you have any suggestions about what I could do to stop this, or any plan B, please let me know.

I'm working on a website to sell posters, books... and the calendars.

Maybe I can create a membership website there too...

I have to think about all this.

I'm asking the people who are doing this to stop now.

There are existing tools to find out who is doing this. I don't want to press charges but if this continues then I'll have to do it. This is copyright infrigment and it's criminally punishable.

I'm posting my new image today or tomorrow... But I have to say I'm doing it with a heavy heart... I know that the immense majority of you are respecting my work and would never do that and I'll try not to be polluted by some persons who doesn't respect me or my work.

Alex

I'd rather pay and support the artist. Sometimes that free content may bring someone here. But I prefer to support the artists and get the material right from them.

I would like to be able to have some of your artwork as my screensavers. I am a a pain member but I'm not sure as to how to access your artwork other than to look at it on patreon. Please let me know what I can and cannot do. I really respect your work and would hate the add to your woes.

I don't understand how anyone can be so lacking in honesty. Your drawings are your work, putting them back online without your consent is pure and simple theft.

Alex, I am SO sorry to hear this. This behavior is just despicable. I hope that you can find ways to effectively combat this. Sending good vibes your way 💗
