A new milestone for me: 3D printing

Making figurines have always be something I wanted to achieve since I started this Patreon page.
Seeing my 3D men becoming alive in the real world has always been a dream.
And now this dream is coming true. I bought a 3D printer, an Elegoo Mars and started my first printing tests...As you can see on this picture, the tower print test that comes with the printer came nicely... But my first tests were pretty flat. :-)
I searched and searched but finding the right settings is a long road from what I understand.
What I understood for now is that I don't have the right product to clean the building platform which caused a lot of failure.
I have to receive the right product and then, I'll do more tests. But I was able to make some first prints and the results were very nice!!! The details are really impressive. Much better than the online printing I was doing with I.Materialize.
This is very promising. Quite frustrating to start with but it was the same with 3D softwares...
I'll keep you posted on my next tests on that. Naked printing will be of course only showed to 2$ patrons and above.
I go back now finishing the Witcher image.
Once again, thanks for your support, Without you, no images, no 3D printing...

2020-02-26 23:16:50 +0000 UTC3d printing really is hit and miss, I've been printing for a few years, got a resin printer a bit ago and it can be super frustrating, but I'm sure you'll figure it out, will you be selling any of your prints?

You will find what does not work before you find what does work. I am envious as I have wanted to print and paint your work for so long...
