Happy Halloween!

Things are moving somewhat smoothly, the scripts for all Chad's heroines have been completed, and art for that is 30% done.

The scripts for the new heroines are going faster than I thought. I guess after writing for the usual 13 heroines for over 3 years, it's refreshing to write new ones again.

If you've followed our posts for the last few months, you have heard of this "Girlfriend Battle" thing being thrown around. What is it exactly? Are the new heroines in this new mode? Is NTR involved?

After months of designing and pondering, here are the details on what this mode would be.

For starters, this mode is normally not accessible at the start of the game; it's unlocked after you've had a girlfriend, which is the fifth stage of a heroine's affection towards MC.

Assuming cheats are not used, Chad would not have advanced a heroine past stage 1 if they became MC's girlfriend. In order for him to try a second attempt at getting their hearts, he would propose a special bet: You would complete in a special dungeon with him, recruiting either your girlfriends or his closest companions.

You would first choose to play as either MC or Chad, each one can bring one main heroine and one of Chad's companions. If you win, you get to spend a night with the heroine you choose.

Chad's companions

During his outlaw days, Chad assembled a team of six girls who were all devoted to him. While not considered his girlfriend like Marida is, these are the people Chad deeply trusts.

Josephine, the mother

"If it weren't for Marida, she could have been the woman I married." - Chad

Josephine has stayed with Chad the longest and is the only woman to have borne his child and given birth to it. A pure-hearted woman devoted to raising her daughter, no one knows how this sweet lady would be willing to have Chad's child in the first place.

Amara the cultist

"She's a little weird, but her cult does give her some really useful powers."

A devoted cultist who worships the god of Balance, Pandora. She dislikes the teachings of the Nylen Crunch and is insistent that her religion is the best one. Often mistaken to be a young teenager due to her height, she is surprisingly older than Josephine.

Lysa the witch

"Not sure how she got cursed, but her magic has helped us a lot."

A weak-hearted mage who has some strange needs in order to survive. While she has quite the potential to become a master mage, she has a rumoured method to recharge her mana that she has kept secret from everyone except Chad.

Scarlet the knight

"Kinda acts and looks like a guy, a real bro I can trust, but I don't get why she wants me to sleep with her."

A tomboyish knight who was exiled and joined Chad's group. Has tried to seduce Chad a few times but ultimately failed as Chad strangely sees her as a man.

Jenny and Ronald the battle couple

"We adopted them when they were beggars trying to survive as outlaws. Quite the cute couple, but god that kid is annoying."

Two war orphans who were raised in Chad's group. Ronald is utterly devoted to Chad and worships him as a god amongst men. He wants to learn "The Chad Way of Life" and constantly annoys him to train him. Jenny, Ronald's fiancée and childhood friend, is doubtful of Chad and isn't too keen on letting Ronald learn from him.

Michelle (Miffy) the Dreamcatcher

"A talented dream witch who has a beautiful body. Helps all of us sleep during some of the most stressful days. Not sure why she's so into horses, though."

A seductive witch who enjoys Chad's company both in combat and at night. She's infamous for making most of her dreams related to horses.

The New Dungeon

The dungeon is filled with higher-level enemies from the start. And new random rooms would have a challenge test that would test against your party members.

There are 8 stats that will be tested, and it's your job to balance them out. Some girls are better in some stats, while weaker in others. If you've progressed a heroine enough, their stats will be raised a bit more!
