Commission Guidelines & TOS

Basic rules

1. No underage characters. The girl can be as petite as Alice, but she is always set to be at least 18 years old.

2. Human characters primarily, cat ears or tail can be added if requested. (The backstory better make sense of it)

3. No complex armor or cyborgs.

4. No copyrighted characters. This is mainly to avoid lawsuits, but also the engine's limitation on what it can create. Your character can look similar to a certain character, but they would have a different name. If you want to know if a certain costume/hairstyle is available in the engine, please message me on Discord (startreegames) to discuss details.,

5. No real-world figures/celebrities. Your character should fit the world he/she lives in. Do not reference real-life events in your backstory.

For Custom Characters

1. After joining the "Albion Citizen" tier, you will be messaged on Patreon within 1-2 days. A Google form containing basic questionnaires about your character will be sent to you to fill to give me a basic idea of who your character is.

2. For discussing and planning your character, it is recommended to discuss it on Discord, as I am more active there. If you wish to discuss it on Patreon, the response time wouldn't be as fast.

3. A backstory for your custom character will be required from you. You can submit a long paragraph of her origin story and why he/she became an Adventurer, what adventures he/she went on, etc.

4. Your character's backstory must fit the world and not majorly affect current relationships in the main game. For example, a childhood friend of the MC / a former sex friend of Chad's is acceptable, but something like a former sex friend of Risa/Chad's ex-wife will not be accepted.

5. A few reference images would also be requested from you to help with creating the character. If you need to know if a certain costume/hairstyle is available in the engine, please message me on Discord to discuss details.

6. Custom Scenes: After discussing with you on how the character would look in the game (including a few rendered images). You can write a custom scene for them. The scene can include up to 4 custom images that would be in the game when the MC interacts with them. If requested, female OC characters can include sex CG to be shown in the game.

7. The sprite for the character will be designed by me, unless you want to use your own. If you do, your sprite must follow the dimensions of RPG Maker MZ. I can provide a reference sprite image if requested.

8. A small gab window will be shown containing your requested name on the top left when recruiting your character. This is mainly to inform new players of a commissioned character.

9. After rendering the custom images and sprite, up to two major revisions can be made during the commission. Minor adjustments within reason can be made during this period.

10. After the character's sprite and scene are implemented into the game, only minor adjustments within reason can be made.

For Custom Images

1. After joining the "Midnight Club" tier, you will be messaged on Patreon within 1-2 days. A Google form containing basic questionnaires about your custom image will be sent to you to fill to give me a basic idea of who you want.

2. I will not render the following:

   • Anything offensive (racism, homophobia, transphobia, incest, pedophilia etc.)

   • Major gore (dismemberment, organs/guts, heavy amounts of blood and injury, etc.)

   • Complex armor/cyborgs

3. Monster/Animals can be rendered to an extent, within the engine's limits. Please message and discuss with me beforehand.

4. The custom image is not implemented in the game. If you wish for it to be, the "Albion Citizen" tier allows a custom character and 1 custom scene to be added into the game.

5. After rendering the custom images and sprite, up to two major revisions can be made during the commission. Minor adjustments within reason can be made during this period.

DISCLAIMER

• By purchasing my services, you automatically agree to the following conditions as well as my rules, which are public and will be reminded if necessary.
• Please read this entirely and carefully. I will refuse your commission if you do not agree to these terms.

• You are not permitted under any circumstances to use any part of commissioned work such as images, goods, and copies of goods in any block-chain related technology including non fungible tokens (NFT), cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space. Using any commissioned work is also strictly prohibited from use in any advertising or profits associated with block-chain related technology including non fungible tokens (NFT), cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.

• Any aspect of work may not be used to train, validate, or test any neural network or artificial intelligence. Doing so is in violation of terms against alteration and external non-private use of assets created for patrons.

• By commissioning me, you agree that you have read and accepted all the terms described herein. You will agree here to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes unless otherwise stated, and provide all image credits to me.
Violators will be added to a blacklist indefinitely and without warning with any additional appropriate actions taken.

CLIENT

• You, the Client, will be expected to first read my TOS, basic rules..
• You, the Client, may display my work on external sites as long as it is visibly credited and linked back to me or the game.
• You may not upload or host my work in any gallery that is intended to display your artwork only.
• You may not claim my work as your own.
• You may use the Artwork for personal use, including but not limited to: avatars, phone or computer wallpapers, and personal website/profile displays.
• You reserve the right to print or create an otherwise physical reproduction of the Artwork as long as it is for your PERSONAL use only (ie. NOT for sale).
• You may not use the Artwork for redistribution or external projects, commercial or non-commercial (i.e. t-shirts, mugs, public flyers, etc.) unless otherwise discussed.
• In the case of an adoptable, you retain the rights to the character design.
• Any harassment in an attempt to bargain for a commission (a ‘slot’) is not tolerated. This includes inappropriately worded comments on any of my social platforms, as well as private messages. I reserve the right to place anyone on a blacklist over harassment.
• By joining the "Albion Citizen" or "Mystery Mask" tier, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully.

PAYMENT

• I am not responsible for any mistakes that are made on your part over the course of the transaction.
• Commissions are only made through joining the "Albion Citizen" or "Mystery Mask" tier on this game's Patreon page.

• Members are charged on the day they join your membership, and then monthly on that same date. For example, if a member joins on the 10th, they’ll be charged on that day, and then monthly on the 10th.

REVISIONS AND FEEDBACK

• I will send WIP (‘work in progress’) images after discussing with you on how you want to portray the characters.
• These images will come in the form of .jpg or .png files as an attachment in a DM.
• The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow.
• I am not responsible for any unsatisfactory element of the finished design if no feedback was given to amend it.
• I will only send a guaranteed WIP for the final rendered image, but you are free to request a WIP at any given time. However, requests must be reasonably spaced so as to avoid harassment and interruption of workflow.
• Up to two major revisions can be made during the drafting phase of the commission. Only minor adjustments within reason can be made afterwards.
• Each time I send a WIP to a client, I ask the client to provide feedback to me. If no suggestions are requested, the client is held responsible for dissatisfaction with incorrect details.
• Two major changes will only be made at the planning stage, any other changes must be minimal.
• Any major changes to the character or subject can be discussed during the planning stage, depending on the nature of the change.
• I will not be held responsible for any changes in ownership of the said character.
• After the order is completed, minor changes are allowed if the missing or inaccurate elements are my fault (e.g., I overlooked details provided in the order).
• In the absence of feedback from the customer, any changes to the final piece must be within reason.
