Ask people in the Cleveland area about The Ron Tanglethorn Show and you might get a few nods here and there. Never the most popular late-night offering on the AM band, it's remembered by diehards mostly for the rather unusual way it signed off the air for good.

Spotify started saying "Spectrevision* before each story, and now there are commercials added. I hope Spotify is giving you more $, you've certainly earned it!!!

Somehow, knowledge of Coast to Coast had eluded me till just last year.

Finally had the chance to put together a few thoughts on this episode. You do a fantastic job at capturing the essence of late-night radio shows focused on paranormal subject matter like Coast to Coast AM. The static/ambient noise, the relatively quiet speaking volume and subtle pauses here and there to gather thoughts. It feels as if you were driving down a long, empty stretch of road at night and you accidentally picked up a weak signal to one of these shows, and you’re hoping you don’t lose that signal until you get to hear the entirety of one of these stories that caught your attention. “The Copper Cup,” “steps,” the introduction vignette to “Late Checkout,” and now “postmarks” are some of my most enjoyed episodes of the podcast so far and I hope you continue to explore more unconventional methods of storytelling. P.S. John O.’s closing remark and Ron Tanglethorn’s swift dismissal of his situation was chilling.

They’re a paranormal-slanted media bunch hosting the podcast files for me to push the stories to some places I can’t really get to… no changes to the content coming, aside from a few more horror entries I’ve posted elsewhere being brought into the feed…. and if you listen here on Patreon, nothing will be different at all.

So on the way to school every morning, me and my 14-year-old daughter alternate between listening to you & Nightvale. A couple days ago we listened to a compendium for Halloween. This morning we listened to most of Staircase. And she said "I think the reason he's so good is because he doesn't exactly write horror stories, he writes stories about fear." I just feel like that hit the nail perfectly and thought I'd share.

Hooray, a new bedtime story!
