I'm f_cking poor
Added 2025-10-08 04:38:50 +0000 UTCI’ll need to adjust my membership soon — probably increase the price and remove some of the old discount tiers. Sorry if I have to take out those cheaper options. At first I thought I can handle giving benefit to you guys to have my works in a cheap price. But I think its somehow backfired now.
I’ve been drawing for almost 10 years now on Patreon, yet my income’s been dropping lately — to the point where I sometimes worry if I should keep going. And I also didn't increase the price for Term image set still 10usd from the beginning, although the pages content inside is much more than before already. I guess it’s time to move to a higher price range, for my own future’s sake.
Well... if increase price will end up more people cancel and my income further dropping. Then I guess I just need accept the reality and close patreon, find other way to earn more money.

2025-10-09 03:36:55 +0000 UTCI think the weird part of your Patreon is what we get in exchange of 5$ or 7$, concerning the Terms. I can pay for the recently released one (Term64) but I don't know what I get for 5$ outside of the regular ones (the ones on Dropbox), and I'll admit I'm not here for that. I'm here for the Terms, and I don't get if I get those after a certain time or if I need to give 10$ in addition to the monthly 5$. Plus, it's weird to create a priced membership for something that is of one term use - I know the shop system solves that, but it is a recent feature on Patreon. The collapse of Gumroad didn't arrange anything. I only pay 5$ because 7$ is no different and the 10$, 15$, 17$, 20$ and 30$ must be changed after telling you what previous Term to buy. Those memberships are way too bizarre for me, they always lost me and I'm certain I'm not the only one to be lost by your system. Especially since I looked at the recent Term64 and realized I already have half of those images, because you released them monthly. And I never realised it was how you intended the thing to work. Looking at which Terms I have, it's almost all of them and only some are missing, and I can't be sure how I accessed half of them, it's weird (I even have two different Term23 somehow : Bull man milking and Gray bondage). I know you can't put all Terms on your shop and rely solely on that system (Term55 was suspended). I think you should try put ALL of your Terms in the shop, so you could get rid of the 10$, 20$ and 30$ system. Sadly I know Patreon will be a problem, especially since the attack against NSFW art right now, with payment processors. Anyway, I have money right now so I'll buy the Terms I don't have. But I maintain what I said : your system is confusing me. And maybe I'm not the only one.

2025-10-08 17:59:29 +0000 UTCIt’s advisable to study some basic principles of economics. When the price increases, the number of buyers decreases; the goal should be to maximize the product of the two — that is, total revenue. In addition, consider price discrimination: allow first-time buyers to gain more surplus (for example, by offering older works at a discount). Once they cross the initial threshold, repeat purchases become easier. This way, wealthier consumers can buy frequently, while those with lower income might purchase only once a year — enabling you to capture the maximum possible consumer surplus.
