In the case of a character in a frontal light environment, it seems that the outline part of the line drawing looks like a shadow, so until I darken the thin areas of the lines, the impression seems weak. Therefore, I often feel quite lost as it doesn't feel like I'm making proper progress during the work. By slightly changing the color of the outlines, I can avoid monotony and express the natural contours of the human body. Although I struggled a lot with frontal lighting, which I don't usually draw, I was able to learn a lot.
