Hello, My jackass friend was bragging that he eats Taco Bell Fire Sauce (from a store-bought jar) at least 5 days a week and therefore could definitely identify all 4 Taco Bell Hot Sauce Varietals in a blind taste test. We tried this and long story short, he failed big time with a humiliating 25% success rate (not even getting the Fire Sauce right). I have some photos I’ll be emailing to you and I’ll also be calling this in as it’s clearly critical it gets on the podcast. Do you have any restaurants and/or food orders that are indelibly nailed to a certain time period (or place, I guess) in your life, so much so that the thought of ordering it now is almost upsetting? For me, a late-night pepperoni and jalapeño pizza from Blackjack Pizza (at Campbell & Grant in Tucson, AZ) is something that only exists from 2006-2008, my first two years of college. So re: Palpatine's Fortnite message for Rise of Skywalker, this actually wasn't the only thing like this in the movie. I went to Disneyland last week and on Star Tours they had just updated it so Lando appears to rally you to come fight the Final Order in that final battle. It fucking sucked. Also Mitch have you / will you watch The Mandalorian? I turned against the new trilogy after JJ biffed it so bad in Ep 9, but it actually gives me hope that maybe Disney can make great Star Wars things.

There used to be a sports bar by house that me and my brother and cousin went to every Sunday to watch football. The wings there would give all 3 of us diarrhea within 10 minutes and we would have to rush each other to get off the toilet. Hi Doughboys! Do you have a memorable "extreme" fast food order from college? My roommate (shoutout to Trent!) and I would often order the "Wagon Wheel" from Gumby's pizza - a 20" delivery pizza that (at the time) was less than ten bucks. Hi guys, do you have any foods that you've loved for years and assumed most other people loved it, only to find out that it's widely regarded by most people to be disgusting? Dear Wiger: As a fellow SoCal Surfer dude I also grew up loving Del Taco. My favorite menu item growing up was kind of a secret menu thing and I’m just wondering. Have you ever had the Stoner Burrito from Del Taco?? Essentially, it’s the red burrito with the white sauce and French fries added into it. It was a huge thing where I grew up and you could just order stoner burrito. Now that I live in NorCal no Del taco up here has any idea what I’m ordering and I have to explain how to make it. Hey, Doughboys! Have you ever found a fast food or chain restaurant in an odd location? When I was in high school, there was a gas station that had a Taco Bell counter. It looked like a regular gas station from the outside but inside was a separate counter for Taco Bell with a very limited menu. My friend and I would regularly order a 20 pack of tacos, always delicious.

I moved to Nashville last April (I actually had tickets to see you in my hometown of Huntsville, Ala., but I ended up getting a job at a TV station in Nashville and had to move the day of the Huntsville show). One thing I quickly learned here in Nashville was Hattie B’s = bad tourist trap, despite being the national go-to reference for hot chicken and Prince’s is clearly the only acceptable hot chicken option for a true Nashvillian. A Grant Achatz situation. The three michelin star Chicago chef who infamously lost his taste due to cancer therapy. He regained his tastes one by one and built all his dishes based on this. Hey Doughboys! We've all heard Mitch talk endlessly about pizza in Mass, but I haven't heard his thoughts on the beach pizza they have in the North Shore of Massachusetts. Places like Tripoli's pizza or Christy's pizza. My girlfriend is from the North shore and I (Floridian) have had Tripolis on every trip and recognize it as one of the greatest slices. Thanks guys!

Anyway, I'm from Florida, but I've lived in DC, New York City, and moved to LA a little over a year ago. Having gotten to experience a lot of regional chain restaurants, I'm curious to know if you could trade one non-socal regional chain with something local, what would you choose? Hi doughboys - long time listener, first time caller. I used to love Chipotle, but once got food poisoning from their chicken. I lost 10 pounds in 24 hours and it was hell on earth. I can truly not even be around Chipotle any more. Have you ever had an experience with a food or chain that you loved that turned you off of to it forever? #spoonnation
