This question is a bit convoluted, but what chains or food items would you assign to each layer of Hell? Limbo would be one that is just okay. Lust would be the most appetizing to look at. Gluttony would be what you could eat the most of. Greed would be something that doesn’t give enough bang for its buck or a chain that treats its employees the worst. Anger would be the one that you hate the most. Heresy would be your most controversial and blasphemous opinion. Violence would be the one that gives you the most violent rumblies. Fraud would be the most deceiving chain or item. Treachery would be the one that you feel has committed the most egregious sin aka who be Egregious Philbin (RIP Harris). Also, I know that was too long of a question as is, but bonus question: which Joe Dante movie would you pick to have to eat something from it? Would you pick a piranha from Pirahna, a gremlin from Gremlins, a werewolf from The Howling, or Tom Hanks from The ‘Burbs?

I consider myself an adventurous eater and rarely turn my nose up at any particular foodstuff, but there's just one food I have never liked: pickles. I hated them when I was little, but as I grew up, I'd keep trying them every couple years just to see if my tastebuds had changed enough for me to enjoy them. It hasn't happened yet, but I will continue trying every now and then in hopes that I'll one day be part of the #PicklePosse. My question is: Is there any kind of food you just can't bring yourself to like, no matter how many times you give it a shot? Follow-up question: is there any food you formerly hated but have grown to enjoy? Thanks for the great pod!

When it came time for the final rating I heard myself uncontrollably yell "NOOO!" while I was alone in my kitchen when it looked like it was going to miss out on the Golden Plate Club and then I was deeply relieved when the score was then later revised. Are there any chains that you feel were worthy of the Golden Plate Club that were snubbed or sabotaged by a rogue review? Thanks!

I ended up getting a mexican-inspired bowl that was advertised as having a crushed tortilla topping. When I saw the person behind the counter making it - I saw they were sautéing the tortilla chips in the pan, and I ended up with mushy chips in my spinach. Have you ever had any strange order mishaps? Or maybe something that you didn't anticipate that ended up being amazing?

True or not, I felt as though I should add an stop on your Boston food tour: A couple feedbags ago, Emma mentioned she used to love going to Flour bakery in Boston. While I like Flour, and it's a local chain which makes it eligible for a doughboys review, I would suggest you check out Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline. Why? Because my wife and I own it! The bakery has been around since '82 and introduced the Boston area to artisan bread baking. All Snack. No Whack. When you finally come to Boston for a show, please come by for a tour or at least take away some free stuff on us! It would be our honor to host you. Keep on churning out those eps!

2019-03-25 20:31:03 +0000 UTCHey Doughboys and associates of the pod! After a long work week last week, I decided to treat myself to some Friday night fourth meal and went to my local Taco Bell. It was around 10:30pm and little did I know that shortly I would be trapped in the Taco Bell drive-thru for over 90 minutes before receiving my food. I, and many others, had already ordered and had no way of reversing or leaving, so we sat there as, very slowly, the cars got their orders. Multiple people left their cars and angrily walked to the window looking for answers. I stayed in my car, however, as I had Doughboys Double episodes to keep me company. Also, I knew that no matter how long I waited, a fat sack of Taco Bell would be there for me in the end. Finally, after about an hour and a half, my car got to the window. The poor employee informed me that everyone besides him and a manager had decided to quit on the spot and they had to deal with both a packed drive-thru line and a full, Friday night lobby. I still had to pay full price for my food, which I found weird but certainly not the fault of the poor kid dealing with what sounds like customer service hell. However, I did get the patented "sorry for your inconvenience cinnamon twists" and a few coupons for free tacos. I drove home and very hungrily enjoyed a very well made Quesarito and Cheesy Gordita Crunch. It was worth the wait. My question to you guys is - What's the longest you've ever waited for food at a restaurant where the food was worth the wait? Sorry about the novel, but had to share the absurd experience with you guys. Love the show and Yusong did nothing wrong!

It'd be fun to hear your thoughts on LA culinary icons like Langers, Jitlada, Dan Tana's, etc. Or exciting, up-and-coming spots like Bestia, Jon & Vinnys, and the like. I don't feel like you'd have to be an LA native to enjoy these ep's (I'm not an LA native myself). It'd be a cool way to showcase some of your favorite spots and to give outsiders an idea of where to visit when in town, and it'd also be nice to hear you guys genuinely enjoy your dining experience. I was wondering if you’ve ever mixed different locations for a meal and/or what you think would be a good combination of foods from different fast food locations. Just became a Patron in time for Munch Madness and just wanted to say thanks for the show and, as a fast food worker, thanks for always supporting and respecting those in the industry.

I have a fast food ethics question: whenever I buy food at chain and they offer me a free water cup, I sometimes take that cup and fill it with soda instead (especially if they have a Coke Freestyle machine). I know this is wrong because I’m not paying for a drink, but I am already paying upwards of $7 or more for food alone. Have you ever sneaked soda or non-water drinks at a serve yourself drink machine and does the high cost of food alone at chains justify a free soda every now and then?

Not only are they the same shape, but if either are out at a party, I'll eat too many and get a tummy ache. I began comparing other nuts to seafoods. You will undoubtedly agree that pistachios are the mussels of nuts. I also believe that macadamia nuts are the scallops of nuts, in both appearance and how fancy they are. Will you please pair the other nuts (pea, hazel, wal, etc.) to their seafood counterparts?

I'm sure there are good combos out there, but its Cincinnati style chili and you have to try to find regular chili here. And there are rarely good artisan ones here because Skyline is regarded like In-N-Out here.
