POTM SUGGESTIONS: September 2025

Sett has won for August! Who's next?

Suggest any fictional man from either a piece of media (along with the series they're from, for the assistance of researching), a couple (less likely to hit the poll, only if they REALLY get me interested), or an OC of mine! If there somehow isn't at least 4 suggestions by the end of suggestions period, I will figure out some characters myself to fill in empty poll slots.

General character choice rules and tips!:

• For the love of god make sure they're 18+ in their original source material. No age ups!

• My taste in furries is very limited! I don't really like long snouts that stray too far from a human jawline! i've found myself liking furry characters like monkeys and tigers before, e.g hrothgars from ffxiv; if that's any frame of reference!

• I'm also generally hesitant to draw a character I've already done a POTM for too soon after the previous time - I'd like to be able to do something new! Around a year and half old and I may consider doing a character I've done before!

• Characters with detailed robotic parts, armour, or tattoos are less likely to be picked, because They Are Painful. Also masked/hidden faces don't really do it for me 😅

• Feel free to tack on a scenario, I might not stick with it but it might help as an idea launchpad if it wins!

• You can make more than one suggestion, but if I do pick one of your suggestions I will only pick one rather than several so as to not have one person fill all the poll slots. Somebody else however can make the same suggestion as one of yours and it can be back up for consideration

• If the prior month's poll runner up gets suggested again I might put them up again; but only a limited amount of times based on what feels appropriate to how they place the second time; I don't want one character to hog up a poll slot for too long if they keep failing, so they'll be on cooldown for a few months before I accept them as a suggestion again

• If you're aiming to target my taste point biases:
  - I'm a sucker for goatees (+ shorter beards in general, i like some jawline~),
  - I tend to like men that are more positive or grey aligned rather than villainous (with exceptions, e.g Ganondorf is a good example since his villainy is more cartoonishly fantastical and easier to take less seriously)

• I don't wanna be a killjoy but there are some franchises i just don't care for so feel like i should warn you I probably wont pick:
  - anything Marvel (with the exception of X-men and into the spiderverse)
  - most hoyoverse ( 🫵 the fanart can't gaslight me I know those men aren't hairy!!)
  - anything live action (i am hesitant to draw live actors)

By August 15th suggestions will close, and after picking the 4 options that catch my eye, polls will start!
