Shared document (show notes) + Release updates + Audience participation.

I just finished recording Episode 33; it's a fairly long one that looks to be about 2:10 or 2:15 or so in total. Quitting smoking/vaping on August 26 (after 21 years) made my September about as barren of activity as the First Century is of written Christian sources. It wasn't until halfway through Week 3 that I began feeling slightly normal and could begin even working on Episode 33. As a result I'm behind on Episodes, so this is my plan to catch up:
1. I hope to finish the editing of Episode 33 by Monday, and have the Episode up NLT Wednesday. Ideally I would be done editing tomorrow and have it go up Monday.
2. I have a week off from work, so I'm going to catch up on Bonus Shows; I'll do the September and October ones in succession, and then start on Episode 34.
Those are the release updates. On to more fun things, Episode 33 will start a new miniseries about the Gospel of John being dependent on the Synoptics (at least Mark). As the September 2023 shared document, I have attached my working document that I used in preparing this show and will use for the next one as well. Generally my strategy is to try to condense everything I need down to one "research document" like this one, and then prepare the show from that.
With this one, I started by highlighting everything in John that I thought had links to the Synoptics. Then, I went through and commented under each line, adding as much detail as needed on the specifics. So you can see here the tone that I use in my notes and how I talk to myself in the notes as well.
I put "audience participation" in this post title, and basically, if you look at the document, I have more than enough material to finish the John miniseries and point out all the ways that John is dependent on Mark and perhaps Luke and even Matthew. But if you see anything that I've missed, you can share it with me, or share it as a comment under this post, and I can mention it in the upcoming John shows, and I can credit you on air (only if you want). Just for reference, in Episode 33, I covered John 1:1 to John 2:21.
