Important Notice: November Updates Status Post

Greetings!
You may have heard from your favorite modder that next month may be a bit of a ride. We have the next sims 4 expansion Get Famous coming out (https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/store/mac-pc-download-addon-the-sims-4-get-famous ) on November 15th which is always a ‘fun’ time for us modders but the truth is that there is more than that happening. The python code that the Sims 4 uses will also be being updated from its current version to version 3.7.0. This means that ALL script mods compiled for the old version of python will need to be updated as well and will cease to work with the 3.7.0 update. In addition, the next TURBODRIVER update to Wicked Whims will require a hotfix for my mod. TURBODRIVER has some pretty nice things in store for everyone that I think all of us will be excited about.
So, for these reasons, I’m making this post that will show you guys the status of each of the major updates: The next Wicked Whims Update Hotfix, the Python 3.7.0 update, and the Expansion update. As of the time of this writing, each update is unreleased (and thus so are my hotfixes). As things get released, this post will be updated.

- Get Famous Expansion Update: pre-patch Pre Patch Released, Expansion Unreleased

If you don’t want to play without my mod while a hotfix is made for each of these updates, then I strongly suggest you don’t install the next update. For Wicked Whims, this is easy enough but for the game you will need to turn off updates, simply do this by putting Origin into offline mode and leaving it in this mode until my hotfix is out. For other hotfix statuses, I will also post the SimsVIP post here when it is available (URL to be linked) which will show the hotfix status of many other mods which you may be using.

2018-10-30 23:14:48 +0000 UTCHey sammy and thank you for your support! Did you upgrade to the latest patreon version of WW? If so then my mod currently needs a hotfix for compatibility, good news is that one should be up within the next 1-2 hours, maybe even sooner :)

2018-10-30 19:57:35 +0000 UTCGreetings Gretchen, As I mentioned in the post, my mod is not yet compatible with the latest WW posted on patreon today, however I will be releasing a patch later today. This WW has some pretty big changes to it so the patch is taking a bit more time than usual (I've already have been working on it for 2 days even though it just released today). Regardless, I expect it out before I go to sleep tonight. Thank you for your support and understanding!
