Both Tulsa and Oklahoma City have begun rolling out Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes. Technically, none of these routes actually meet ITDP BRT Standards, but they are still a good step in the right direction for both cities. Ultimately, these systems should be seen as a small taste of what good transit could look like in Oklahoma rather than a truly perfect solution.

In this video, we look at the past and present of streetcars in Oklahoma. We also look at the different forms of passenger rail and how they can all work together. The OKC streetcar could be a great last-mile connector--if there were better metro and regional connections.

Last semester, I had one final class at OU. I realized that if I lived in OKC, I could take the Amtrak Heartland Flyer to class each morning. So of course, this is exactly what I did. Join me on my journey to becoming (to my knowledge) the only regular train commuter in the state of Oklahoma, if only for a few months.

Patreon Exclusive Content! In this video, I, along with my classmates Reilly Tuer, Hiroki Mishima, and Ian Gray, take a walk through the city of Rome. Throughout this walk, we will categorize these spaces with regards to Sebastiano Serlio's idea of "tragic," "comedic," and "satirical" spaces. Ideally, this will help us better understand the spaces along the way.
