Looks like the new Patreon release of WW, 3.3.4.133.4 broke my mod D:

So here is a hotfix for the new version of WW + a fix for my ST filter not removing tears from stuck sensually tight sims, a fix for my nisa.filter console command for similar reasons, a fix for disabling tears interfering with the removal of tears.

Also, a few days ago I asked you guys how much you'd like to get notified from me about the precious stuff n' thingz. As of the time of this writing only about 20 percent of you said to leave you alone as much as possible with a striking 44 percent wanting me to stuff your tight innocent inboxes full of messages! So it's pretty clear that most of you want more post from me on patreon. However, the 1/5th of you who don't aren't going to be ignored either. I'm still playing around with how I'm going to keep patreon users more informed but for now you will start receiving notices of every hotfix in addition to major content updates and I'm going to experiment with bringing some of the WIP I've been sharing over on the patreon into the hotfix posts! Anywho, for the new caged bird update, when you purchase sims of the Tam Explorer you have the option of buying a warranty to protect your purchase. Warranty will do two major things, one it will brand your sim, and two it will give the buying sim a voucher for a new sim of equivalent 'class' (multiple factors go into determining how much a caged bird cost) if their purchase expires after a week of ownership. Yesterday I was working on the aforementioned brand.

Here's how the brand works. Low class sims will get the standard black brand with possible reduced detail, middle class sims will get a brand with silver accents, and high class sims will get a brand with gold accents. Yesterday I started working through the style of the brand (it will be finished by the end of today) and went through many many ideas. Two things are of major concern when designing this, custom cc body meshes and morphing. Many places that I'd like to brand (for example the bum bum or breast, or tum tum) undergoes major morphing when changing things like the sim weight and some details even change position (like the belly button) when a non vanilla body mesh is used. This adds significant distortion and warp to these places. So after much trial and error I found a few designs that seem to work reasonably well. (I tested around 2 dozen)

[Please note, as these textures are WIP some details are a bit more sloppy than they would be in the final release (for example character spacing and minor details on the chain texture)]

First thing I wanted to try was the side hand tattoo, all text in the WIP images are written in simlish btw. I've seen some real life ladies with this kind of tat before and I think it's a great way to signal certain things about yourself without looking overly tatted:

What I like about this one is that it's hard to hide (in a awkward spot) so it really should display your sim's status to the world. I also tried a ankle bracelet variety:

But the downside to this is that it's soooooo easy to cover up with either boots/socks/etc. Here a image of these two in game (you can see a few other discarded tatts too):

Meh, wasn't really feeling it. So next I moved onto a symbol. For the symbol I choose the BDSM symbol with art around it. At first I tried the symbol with very small text:

I tried a few places for this, one was just below the neck, just above the breast, but here it seemed to have the least distortion problems and I loved the ultra small text. I thought it gave it a elegant look. I also tried another design with thicker text and surrounded by a chain:

Much more detail in this design but still in a relatively easy place to hide. So the next thing I tried was extending the chain texture to the neck of the sim:

Harder to hide but definitely han that 'tatted' feel to it. My only concern is the potential conflict with the aspiration rewards (but i could code in a conflict resolver to choose the brand over the collar for that reward trait).

So what do you guys think? is there one you like more than another? Would you want a different style entirely or maybe a combo? (like the bdsm braind with small text and the sidehand tatt?) I'm still very torn on it. Let me know what you think!
