I have sleep apnea. With a sleeping disorder alone can cause an incident but also the combination of one and alcohol. Big thing I'd do is sleep eat. I'm not preparing no meal or anything. Something way easier. Like banana bread or macaroni salad. My mom has run into me while sleep walking and I'll have a conversation. I've had conversations with people while sleeping. One added cause with a sleeping disorder is night terrors. Now for why I feel like I'd be someone to sleep walk is because of the above mentioned plus the fact I've had multiple concussions/knocked unconscious through sports like football. I also have a mental illness. Borderline personality disorder. Plus I've had a psychosis. So I definitely feel like my case would be due to a combo
