Fitting Outfits To Genesis Characters
Added 2023-06-06 23:15:24 +0000 UTCThis is not exactly a step-by-step tutorial, but it is close enough to get someone started. I did forget an entire step that comes before exporting the outfit. Once the outfit has been posed to match the Genesis figure of your choice, the outfit will have to be sculpted a bit to fit even better so that the auto weight mapping that happens with Transfer Utility doesn't map part of the ribs to part of the arm. the outfit needs to fit as close to the skin of the character as you can possibly get it. Once that is done you can export the parts. It is going to change the over all shape of the outfit, but once you have it imported into Daz and make sure the weight mapping is good to go, you can add body morphs to the character to get the outfit as close to the original shape as you see fit. I will do a video to show the sculpting process that I use ASAP. Thanks for watching and let me know if there is anything that is confusing or if you noticed something I may have missed
